Meet Dr. Craig Zelizer

Dr. Craig Zelizer is the Founder of PCDN.global, a leading platform helping professionals build purpose-driven careers in the social impact sector. Through curated opportunities, resources, and a global community, PCDN connects people working at the intersection of impact, innovation, and systems change.
Dr. Zelizer works across social impact, peacebuilding, AI, ethical finance, and the future of work. His core mission is helping democratize opportunity—ensuring talent everywhere has a chance to thrive, regardless of background or geography.
He spent 10 years as a full-time faculty member in the Conflict Resolution Program at Georgetown University, where he now continues as adjunct faculty, and has also taught at the American University of Paris. Over the past two decades, he has led more than 200 workshops in over 20 countries, supporting changemakers across sectors and regions.
Dr. Zelizer began his peacebuilding work in the late 1990s and has worked on the ground in post-conflict settings. He was a Program Officer at IREX, and has consulted for organizations including SIDA, Rotary International, the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP), USAID and more recently and the International Panel on the Information Environment (IPIE), where he served as Consulting Scientist on the AI and Peacebuilding Technical Report.
He holds both a Fulbright Junior Scholar Award (Hungary) and a Boren Fellowship (Bosnia and Herzegovina), which deeply influenced his global and interdisciplinary approach to conflict and social change. He has an MA from Central European University and also a PhD from the Carter School at George Mason University.
Dr. Zelizer also cohosts The Social Change Career Podcast, which has released nearly 200 episodes featuring candid conversations with impact professionals around the world.
He has published widely including editing two books. He has been honored with the Luxembourg Peace Prize and named Alumnus of the Year by the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution, recognizing his contributions to building more just, peaceful, and innovative systems.
